Aviation Training: Riyadh Air Signs MoU With Saudia Academy

Riyadh Air and Saudia Academy have announced a strategic collaboration to enhance aviation training capabilities across Saudi Arabia. Both companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh. The major objective of this partnership is to elevate the standards of training for pilots, cabin crew, and flight dispatchers.
As part of the collaboration, Saudia Academy and Riyadh Air will combine their resources and experience to offer extensive training programs that span a wide range of subjects important to the aviation sector. Riyadh Air mentioned in its statement that these programs will encompass technical training, aviation fundamentals, ground operations, management principles, language proficiency, and regulatory compliance.

In order to meet the professional development needs of aviation leaders and decision-makers, the partnership will also deliver executive education and coaching. "By pooling our strengths and leveraging our collective experience, we aim to establish a world-class training ecosystem that empowers aviation professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles," said Peter Bellew, COO of Riyadh Air, in the statement. Saudia Academy CEO Capt. Ismail AL Koshy said that Saudia Academy, the subsidiary of Saudia Group, is poised to set new benchmarks in aviation training. The partnership highlights Saudi Arabia's steadfast commitment to enhancing its aviation capabilities and supporting the growth of its aviation workforce.
