"He's a very smart guy. I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He's a brilliant guy," Trump said when asked if he would consider naming Tesla CEO to an advisory role or cabinet position. In July, Elon Musk publicly endorsed Trump in the US presidential race. Meanwhile, Elon Musk responded to the Republican former president's statement with a social media post that read, "I am willing to serve."
