The framework includes ten initiatives and will be implemented over the next five years.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has introduced a comprehensive and integrated framework to support the mental wealth of residents in the emirate. The Dh105-million project, part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, was launched by Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE. The framework includes ten initiatives and will be implemented over the next five years.

The Mental Wealth Framework seeks to accomplish a number of strategic objectives that ensure the integration of various initiatives. This includes developing a comprehensive model of care that comprises all aspects of mental wealth services, including early detection, intervention, enhancement, and prevention. The project aims to deliver high-quality care, support, and counselling services necessary to strengthen psychological and community stability. Apart from this, the significant initiative also focuses on the educational environment and empowering school staff and parents to develop students' psychological capacities.

Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, said in a statement that the framework was created to improve the emirate's unique lifestyle proposition. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi also noted that mental wealth is a vital part of the health and welfare of the community and one of the most crucial strategic objectives of major cities around the globe.
