Teachers in Dubai schools will soon be certified in artificial intelligence. Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai, announced an initiative to launch training in the use of AI and its applications for teachers in the emirate. The project, in line with the recently introduced Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, aims to empower our teachers with AI skills to enhance their professional capabilities.
This significant project will be overseen by the Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The main highlight of the initiative is that the top ten teachers who demonstrate the most innovative ways to use AI technologies to improve educational outcomes will be recognised with awards totalling AED 1 million during the next edition of the AI Retreat. The programme will combine practical and online training along with regular assessments.
In line with Dubai's annual plan to accelerate the adoption of AI applications, we announce today the launch of a programme to upskill all teachers in Dubai in artificial intelligence. The top 10 teachers who effectively integrate AI into their teaching practices will be honoured…
