The diverse experiences offered at the site, blending history, entertainment, and leisure.

Makkah Al-Mukarramah - Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rashid, CEO of the Royal Commission for the City of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the Holy Sites, officially inaugurated the historic site of Ain Zubaydah yesterday. The Royal Commission has diligently worked to develop this site into a cultural and entertainment destination, offering a multitude of events that enhance the experience for visitors and residents of Makkah. The inauguration coincided with the presence of guests attending the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition.

The newly developed Ain Zubaydah site features a 1.2 km hiking trail along with six distinct recreational and cultural areas. These additions enrich visitors' experiences by providing historical visual displays. The Royal Commission collaborated with various entities including the "Service for Guests of God" program, Ministry of Culture, General Authority for Endowments, Heritage Authority, and "Kadanah" to transform this area into a cultural haven. This initiative is an extension of their ongoing projects aimed at developing historical sites.

The significance behind Ain Zubaydah lies in its historical importance to both residents of Makkah and pilgrims visiting the Holy Kaaba over centuries. It houses a spring along with an ancient water path dating back more than 1,200 years. Situated in Wadi Numan between Makkah and Taif cities, its canals extend up to 30 km towards the Holy Sites area while reaching depths up to 40 meters in certain places. Along its length are numerous beads designed in intricate geometric patterns.

The development efforts undertaken by the Royal Commission have transformed Ain Zubaydah into an attractive destination that showcases both history and culture while providing entertainment options for all visitors.
