General Directorate of Passports Introduces Enhanced Absher Travel Service for Effortless Travel Experience on King Fahd Causeway

Dammam: The General Directorate of Passports has unveiled an enhanced version of the Absher Travel service, aimed at simplifying and streamlining the travel process across the King Fahd Causeway.

Delivered in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and the King Fahd Causeway Authority, this upgraded service introduces a seamless procedure for bridge fee payments and vehicle insurance verification prior to arrival at the port.

With a focus on advancing the digital transformation of passport services, this joint effort is set to enhance the overall quality of life for both citizens and residents.

Furthermore, the new Absher Travel service incorporates spatial verification through the NAFATH application. This integration contributes to a smoother and more convenient travel experience for individuals utilizing the King Fahd Causeway.

Accessible to citizens and residents with an active account on the Ministry of Interior's electronic platform, "Absher," this improved service can be easily accessed via the Absher application on smart devices.
