The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the final list of 574 players who are set to be featured in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction. The auction will be held in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah on November 24 and 25. Out of the 574 players, 366 are Indian and 208 are overseas, including 3 players from associate nations.
Also, 318 Indian uncapped players and 12 uncapped overseas players are included in the list. IPL franchises have a total of 204 slots to fill, with 70 of them for overseas players. The highest reserve price is set at Rs 2 crore, with 81 players opting to be in this highest bracket. Meanwhile, 27 players are in Rs 1.5 crore category and 18 are placed in the Rs 1.25 crore category.
The exclusion of England speedster Jofra Archer is the main highlight of the auction list. Archer, whose name featured among the 1,574 players in the first list, had initially registered for the auction. At the same time, England's record Test wicket-taker James Anderson is included in the auction. Thirteen-year-old India U-19 cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player in the auction at Rs 30 lakh base price.
