It is worth mentioning that Zuckerberg’s net worth has risen by $78 billion since the beginning of 2024, and this hike is more than any member of the 500 richest people that the Bloomberg Index tracks.
The US-based billionaire's net worth reached the highest, driven by Meta's remarkable performance and strong investor confidence in the tech giant's ambitious push into artificial intelligence and augmented reality. Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, reportedly generated $134.9 billion in revenue last year.
As per the index as of October 4, Tesla CEO Elon Musk holds the position as the richest person in the world with a present net worth of $256 billion. Bernard Arnault, CEO and chairman of LVMH, is holding the fourth position with a net worth of $193 billion.
