Ministry of Islamic Affairs Addresses Thousands of Mosque Violations Across the Kingdom
|Over 3,000 transgressions addressed, public urged to report misuse
Riyadh - The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has taken action against over 3,000 violations and transgressions related to mosque services in various regions of Saudi Arabia, including cases involving electricity and water misuse. The ministry has successfully resolved more than 2,500 of these violations.
Continuing its efforts, the ministry conducts regular inspection rounds to prevent any misuse or exploitation of electricity and water meters, as well as the improper use of mosque premises and resources. These measures reflect the ministry's commitment to protecting public funds and upholding the sanctity of mosques.
In order to effectively address any issues concerning mosque services or property, the ministry has urged both citizens and expatriates to collaborate by reporting any observations or violations. Individuals can report such incidents through the Reports Receiving Center (1933) or by visiting the ministry's branches in their respective regions. Emphasizing the significance of public participation, the ministry highlights the pivotal role of citizens and residents in its mission to care for mosques and preserve their properties.
