Riyadh: The World Economic Forum's Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development in Riyadh will see the participation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken in a dedicated session on the Gaza crisis. The session aims to address the urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza and explore ways to lay the groundwork for its recovery.
During the conversation with Secretary of State Blinken, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a dialogue on the Gaza crisis and discuss potential actions to address the severe humanitarian situation. The crisis has resulted in acute food insecurity and enormous reconstruction costs for critical infrastructure, estimated at $18.5 billion.
