Club World Cup 2025: FIFA Announces 12 Venues

FIFA has announced 12 venues that will be hosting the matches of the 2025 Club World Cup. The United States is the host nation of the 32-team tournament, which will be held from June 15 to July 13, 2025. The MetLife Stadium will be the venue of the final. At the same time, reports indicate that FIFA has been trying for months to secure a global TV rights deal for the tournament.

Other major venues for the prestigious event include Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville), and Audi Field (Washington, D.C.). The tournament will feature title-winning teams from each of FIFA’s continental confederations, and a total of 63 matches will be played across the United States. The draw for the tournament will be held in December. Notably, 30 of the 32 places were already secured through the qualification procedure.

“This new FIFA competition is the only true example in worldwide club football of real solidarity and inclusivity, allowing the best clubs from Africa, Asia, Central and North America and Oceania to play the powerhouses of Europe and South America in an incredible new World Cup which will impact enormously the growth of club football and talent globally," said FIFA President Gianni Infantino. At the same time, in addition to the broadcasting dilemma, football's governing body has also reportedly encountered difficulties in attracting sponsors for the tournament.
