Neymar Returns To Brazilian Club Santos
The Brazilian announced his return in an emotional video on Thursday, saying he felt like he was “going back in time.”

Brazilian star Neymar has made a return to Santos, the club where his professional journey started. The 32-year-old has reportedly signed a six-month contract with the club following the termination of his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. Neymar emerged through the youth system at Santos before a high-profile move to Barcelona in 2013.
The Brazilian announced his return in an emotional video on Thursday, saying he felt like he was “going back in time.” It is worth mentioning that this return comes nearly 12 years after he left the Brazilian club. The forward won six titles with his boyhood club Santos, including a Copa Libertadores trophy in 2011. The club was relegated to Brazil’s second division in 2023 and was promoted again in the latest season.

“It’s been nearly 12 years since I left the most famous Vila in the world – and it seems like it was yesterday. My feelings for the club and fans have never changed," said Neymar in the video, as quoted by CNN. In 2017, Neymar moved from Barcelona to PSG for 222 million euros, making him the most expensive player in soccer history.
