Al Hilal Becomes First Saudi Club to Exceed One Billion Riyals in Revenue, Setting a New Benchmark in Sports Excellence

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia– Al Hilal Club has marked a historic milestone in the realm of Saudi sports by surpassing one billion riyals in revenue, according to the club's annual report for the current fiscal year. With revenues totaling 1.1 billion riyals and expenditures at 923 million riyals, the club not only enters the 'billion club' but also boasts a notable surplus of 33 million riyals.

Fahd bin Nafel, Al Hilal's president, hailed the fiscal year as exceptional, celebrating both the club’s financial success and its ongoing leadership in various arenas. “The years go by and Al Hilal’s leadership continues in various fields. This season will remain exceptional in the journey of an entity that competes with its achieved numbers," he stated. Al Hilal's comprehensive success spans over 420 championships across all sports and age groups for both genders, establishing the club as a standout example in the kingdom for its sports, administrative, and commercial ventures.

The phenomenal financial outcome is primarily driven by a 105% increase in commercial revenues which soared to 646 million riyals from 314 million the previous season. This boost was fueled by robust gains in sponsorships, match day earnings, and revenue from Al Hilal's academies and the Blue Store.

Notably, the club’s president emphasized significant advancements in administrative and investment domains, which have been strengthened by numerous partnerships and sponsorships. These initiatives have greatly expanded Al Hilal's popularity and outreach. Another highlight of the year was the inauguration of the Kingdom Arena, Al Hilal's official stadium equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance the fan experience.

Additionally, the club's non-profit foundation saw contributions totaling 188.7 million riyals, which included a significant 182.6 million riyals from Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. This financial health not only highlights Al Hilal's prowess in revenue generation but also underscores its commitment to community and developmental projects.
