Instagram Users Can Now Add Multiple Audio Tracks To Reels
Users will be able to add more tracks by tapping the "Add to mix" option that appears in Instagram’s video editor.
Instagram has introduced multiple audio tracks to their Reels. The latest feature allows users to add up to 20 tracks to a single Reel. Earlier, users could only add one track to their Reels. The popular social media platform also said that audio can be visually aligned with elements like text, stickers, and clips while editing in the app.
The Meta-owned platform announced the new feature in a post on Wednesday. Users will be able to add more tracks by tapping the "Add to mix" option that appears in Instagram’s video editor. After adding the tracks, users can trim the tracks to include only the portion of audio they require. Notably, when a user adds different tracks to a reel, Instagram will label the audio mix as belonging to the user. "So, as you unlock new ways to express yourself with audio, you fans can save and reuse your audio mixes," added the platform in a post.
Meanwhile, Instagram’s Head Adam Mosseri recently said that the Meta-owned platform will focus more on short-form videos than long-form videos. Adam Mosseri made this statement while responding to a user's question about whether the platform would be doing long-form videos.
