Riyadh : The Ministry of Commerce has instructed a car agency to cancel an illegal procedure they had implemented, which involved demanding full payment when consumers made a booking for car purchases.
In clarifying the issue, the ministry has mandated that the agency only request a partial payment as a deposit to confirm the reservation. To address this violation, the agency was summoned as part of the ministry's process to complete the necessary legal procedures against it.
The ministry actively monitors the compliance of car agents, distributors, and showrooms with the regulations and instructions currently in effect in the Kingdom.
