Taif, Saudi Arabia: In a significant move, the Saudi Cabinet, under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has approved new organizational structures to govern the Taif Development Authority. Established on May 5, 2022, and reinforced by a Cabinet decree on May 12, 2022, this entity is tasked with spearheading urban and economic improvements in Taif, a key governorate in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Province.

The Taif Development Authority is set to prioritize and implement developmental plans and projects, engage the private sector more actively in these initiatives, and ensure comprehensive development, enhancing the quality of life in the region. It will play a crucial role in preserving and promoting Taif’s natural and historical sites while encouraging investment in agriculture and rural tourism.
