476,000 Rooms Licensed In Saudi Arabia's Tourism Hospitality Facilities In 2024

Mohammed Al Rasasimah, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Tourism, said that the number of licensed rooms in tourism hospitality facilities rose to 475,970 in 2024. Meanwhile, the number of licensed rooms grew by more than 69% compared to 2023, reaching 280,800 rooms by the end of the year, he added.

Al Rasasimah also indicated that the continued growth in the number of licenses issued for tourism hospitality facilities and the number of licensed rooms is driven by the Ministry of Tourism's efforts to enable operators and investors in the hospitality sector to obtain licenses, promote the commitment of hospitality facilities to licensing and classification standards, and ensure their compliance with the requirements and conditions set by the Tourism Law and its regulations.
