DP World ILT20 Season 3 To Kick Off Today

The highly anticipated DP World ILT20 Season 3 is set to kick off today, January 11. The opening match will be between defending champions MI Emirates and Dubai Capitals in a rematch of the Season 2 final at the Dubai International Stadium. The third season will run until February 9, 2025.

The month-long cricket fest will witness some of the world’s popular cricketers in action, including David Warner, Shimron Hetmyer, and Tim David. The new season will be launched with a grand opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium, which will be headlined by performances by Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde. The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm local time. The season opener will kick off with the first ball bowled at 7:15pm local time.

Fifteen tournament matches will be played at the Dubai International Stadium. Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium will be the centre stage for eight matches.
