The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Commerce revealed that the individual was involved in independently operating commercial activities without the required foreign investor license. The ministry's investigation led to the exposure of these illegal operations.

A final judicial ruling from the Criminal Court in Al-Ahsa has been issued, delivering a multifaceted punishment. The sanctions include public defamation, a financial penalty, and deportation following the enforcement of the ruling. Additionally, the violator is banned from returning to engage in any form of employment within Saudi Arabia. The ruling also orders the cancellation of the commercial registry, the liquidation of the establishment's activities involved in the violation, and the imposition of measures to prevent any future commercial activities by the offender. Further financial recoveries in the form of zakat, fees, and taxes have been ordered.

This case underscores the rigorous enforcement by the National Program to Combat Commercial Cover-Up, which aims to ensure all market players adhere to established regulations. The program stipulates severe penalties for violations, including prison sentences up to five years and fines up to five million riyals, alongside the seizure and confiscation of illicitly obtained funds.
