The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) has commenced its fourth edition under the theme of "The New Home of Film," welcoming cinema enthusiasts and the film community from around the world to its inaugural opening night at the festival's new headquarters in Historic Jeddah, Al Balad. The festival opened with the world premiere of Saudi-Egyptian co-production "The Tale of Daye's Family."

According to Saudi Press Agency report, the festival offers an extensive program featuring seminars, training workshops, and film screenings, part of its vision aimed to strengthen Saudi Arabia's status as a global destination for the film industry and to support local, regional, and international talent. The festival will screen 122 films in 49 languages by a host of talented filmmakers from 85 countries.

The opening ceremony honored a selection of stars, including British actress Emily Blunt, Egyptian actress Mona Zaki, and Indian cinema icon Aamir Khan, and presented a Special Recognition Award for Vin Diesel. The RSIFF's jury is headed by internationally renowned director Spike Lee and includes a variety of international creators.
