Dubai RTA Generates AED 3.7 Billion In Revenue Through Digital Channels In 2023

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) digital revenues for 2023 marked a notable growth of 16.8%, reaching AED 3.705 billion compared to the previous year. The total number of digital transactions conducted through RTA’s channels increased to 821 million in this period, indicating a 1% increase from 2022.
Moreover, transactions via smart apps recorded 15.299 million, marking 29% growth. According to Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, the real-time happiness indicator across RTA’s apps surpassed 95%, indicating a 2% improvement over the previous year.

Mattar Al Tayer emphasized RTA’s dedication to leading the way in digital transformation, staying ahead of technological advancements, and providing integrated and proactive services that improve digital quality of life and elevate customer experiences. RTA has recently introduced an updated version of the RTA Dubai app. The update mainly includes an AI-powered parking prediction feature covering 190,000 locations and an NFC-based nol top-up service.
