Elon Musk Joined Trump's Phone Call With Zelenskyy: Report

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly made a surprise guest appearance on a call between Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to the Axios report, Musk was present with Trump during the call for roughly 25 minutes. Elon Musk's involvement in the call highlights his influence in the upcoming Donald Trump-led US administration.
Multiple reports also suggest that the Ukraine leader thanked Elon Musk for his help with providing communications through Starlink to Ukraine in the ongoing war with Russia. However, it is not clear whether the call touched on any change in US policy toward Ukraine in the wake of Trump's election win. After Donald Trump was declared the winner, Zelenskyy urged Trump to help strengthen Ukraine against Russian aggression.
Elon Musk, the tech tycoon, played a major role in Donald Trump’s return to the White House. According to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Elon Musk donated an estimated $132 million to Trump and other Republicans in the run-up to the 2024 election, reported Al Jazeera. The president-elect has said that in a second term, he would invite Musk into his administration. It is worth mentioning that Musk owned Tesla's share price jumped by more than 12% on Wednesday following news of Donald Trump's victory.
