India-Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise 'SADA TANSEEQ' Strengthens Defense Cooperation
Troops from India and Saudi Arabia Participate in Joint Operations Training in Rajasthan
Mahajan, Rajasthan - The India-Saudi Arabia joint military exercise, 'SADA TANSEEQ,' is currently underway at Mahajan, Rajasthan, from 29th January to 10th February 2024. The exercise involves 45 personnel from both countries, with the Royal Saudi Land Forces representing Saudi Arabia and a Battalion from the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanised Infantry) representing the Indian Army.
The primary aim of the exercise is to train troops from both sides in joint operations within semi-desert terrain, under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter. By sharing their best practices in tactics, techniques, and procedures for conducting operations in the sub-conventional domain, the exercise aims to enhance interoperability, foster bonhomie and camaraderie between the participating troops.
Various activities will be carried out during the exercise, including the establishment of a mobile vehicle check post, cordon and search operations, house intervention drills, reflex shooting, slithering exercises, and sniper firing. These activities seek to provide practical experience and strengthen the bond between the contingents.
The exercise serves as an important platform to achieve shared security objectives, enhance the level of defense cooperation, and nurture bilateral relations between India and Saudi Arabia.
