Private School Sector In Dubai Records 6% Enrolment Growth In 2024-25 Academic Year

With student enrollment rising by 6% during the 2024–25 academic year to reach a total of 387,441 students across 227 private schools, Dubai's private school sector is still expanding strongly. The latest report published by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) also highlighted the opening of ten new private schools during the 2024-25 academic year.
According to Emirates News Agency report, the data also revealed that 33,210 Emirati students are enrolled in private schools in Dubai, with the US curriculum being the most popular choice, followed by the UK and IB curriculums. Dubai’s private schools offer 17 different curricula. Currently, 27,284 teachers are employed in the emirate’s private schools. This marks a 9% surge compared to the previous academic year.
