Riyadh Season 2024 To Begin On October 12
14 entertainment zones will be part of this year's event
The fifth edition of Riyadh Season 2024 is set to begin on October 12. General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Shikh said that 14 entertainment zones will be part of this year's event, with the season taking place over an area exceeding 7.2 million square meters. Additionally, 11 world championships, 10 exhibitions, and various festivals will also be held.
Speaking at a news conference held in VIA Riyadh, GEA Chairman pointed out that the fifth edition of Riyadh Season includes 4,200 contracts and 2,100 companies, of which the percentage of local companies reaches about 95%. Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Shikh also unveiled a new area joining the Riyadh Season called "The Venue," noting that the zone was built to accommodate 8,000 people over an area of around 10,000 square meters. Notably, The Venue will host seven events, beginning with the world-renowned tennis tournament 6 Kings Slam.
Visitors wishing to visit the Riyadh Season events have to purchase tickets through the “WeBook” application. Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al Al-Shikh also announced the continued expansion in the area of zones of the Boulevard World, which receives significant public turnout. Notably, Boulevard City has experienced a 70% increase in its activities and events, with over 40 new experiences and activities, 25 restaurants and cafes, 12 plays, and 12 concerts.
