Riyadh - Qiddiya Investment Co.'s (QIC) board of directors announced the official launch of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, as reported by Saudi Press Agency on January 15th.
This iconic multi-use venue is set to become a hub for Saudi Arabia's biggest sports, entertainment, and cultural events. Located in Qiddiya City, just 40 minutes from Riyadh and perched above the stunning 200-meter-high Tuwaiq cliff, the stadium is expected to captivate visitors from around the world.
The stadium aims to revolutionize the traditional stadium experience with its immersive design and unique technological features that place spectators at the center of every show. According to a press release from QIC, it will become a must-visit destination for fans and enthusiasts globally.

Designed by renowned architectural firm Populous,
the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium will be
the world's first fully integrated venue witha retractable roof, pitch, and LED wall. This architectural marvel offers unparalleled versatility, allowing seamless transformation into different "event modes" within hours.
The LED wall serves as a portal for live event broadcasts, high-definition films, and laser shows—providing guests with an immersive experience during each visit. When not in use, the LED wall opens up to reveal breathtaking views of Qiddiya City.
Guests can expect an array of spectacles within this single venue—ranging from football matches and boxing bouts to esports competitions, concerts, and theater performances. Cutting-edge technology will provide fans with instant access to live data and information, including the use of state-of-the-art holographic technology for virtual interactions with celebrities and stars.
