Saudi Arabia to Participate in World Economic Forum 2024 in Davos, Switzerland
High-Level Delegation Led by Foreign Affairs Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan to Discuss Challenges and Opportunities

Riyadh - Saudi Arabia is set to participate with a distinguished delegation in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2024, taking place in Davos, Switzerland from Monday until Friday. Under the theme "Enhancing Confidence," the forum will bring together representatives from governments, international organizations, private sector companies, civil society institutions, academic institutions, and think tanks.
Heading the delegation is Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs. The delegation also includes Princess Rima bint Bandar, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States; Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce; Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Affairs Envoy; Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment; Muhammad Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance; Abdullah Al-Sawaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology; Bandar Al-ഖോരയെഫ് Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; and Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning.
During their participation at the forum, the Saudi delegation will address current challenges while emphasizing international cooperation as a means to tackle them effectively. They will discuss supporting economic integration and sustainable resource management while harnessing innovation and technological solutions. Furthermore, the delegation will explore opportunities presented by emerging ടെക്നോളോജിസ് and their impact on policy-making processes within Saudi Arabia as well as globally.
The Saudi delegation aims to showcase progress achieved under Saudi Vision 2030—a transformative development plan across various sectors—and highlight investment opportunities available within multiple industries. By sharing experiences on improving competitiveness and enhancing attractiveness for private and foreign investments, Saudi Arabia seeks to foster joint cooperation and establish a prosperous, diversified economy.
The delegation will also present the Kingdom's best practices in enhancing economic flexibility and achieving financial sustainability, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The fifty-fourth annual meeting of the World Economic Forum will focus on strengthening collaboration between public and private sectors to explore future opportunities. It will also review solutions and developments within various economic and developmental sectors through international cooperation.
With over 100 governments, major international organizations, more than 1,000 prominent global companies from the private sector, as well as representatives from civil society institutions, academic institutions, and think tanks in attendance, the forum provides an ideal platform for fruitful discussions on shaping a sustainable future through collaborative efforts.
