UAE Schools Receive 65,000 Books From Abu Dhabi Book Fair
The titles and publications were purchased from 77 publishing houses that attended the 33rd edition of the book fair
Under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, 65,000 books from the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair have been distributed to libraries at 220 schools across the United Arab Emirates. The initiative mainly seeks to assist school libraries in encouraging a reading culture among students.
The titles and publications were purchased from 77 publishing houses that attended the 33rd edition of the book fair. This move is also expected to expand the schools’ educational resources. It offers students a wide and diverse range of knowledge resources and titles featured at the fair.
