ITS World Congress And Exhibition To Kick Off On September 16 In Dubai

The Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress and Exhibition is set to take place in Dubai from September 16th to 20th. The 30th edition of the event will feature over 800 speakers across 200 specialized sessions. It is anticipated that the event, which will showcase the latest innovations in smart mobility and transport technology, will draw 20,000 attendees.

The ITS World Congress is organised by the European ITS organisation ERTICO, in collaboration with ITS America and ITS Asia-Pacific. It will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the theme "Mobility Empowered by Intelligent Transport Systems." Key areas of focus of Congress include urban mobility, innovation in mobility & logistics, clean mobility, and automated mobility.

Among the 200 sessions, the event will also witness panel discussions. Hosting the event in Dubai reflects the rising influence of the region in smart transport innovation. Meanwhile, the Roads and Transport Authority has highlighted that hosting the ITS World Congress underscores Dubai's commitment to strengthening smart transport solutions and promoting sustainable mobility.
