Riyadh: The King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) is set to unveil a pioneering generative artificial intelligence technology at the third edition of the Global AI Summit (GAIN), taking place from September 10 to 12 at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre, Riyadh. This significant event enjoys the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

The system is designed to enhance the hospital's operational efficacy by automating the analysis of large volumes of data, including scientific publications and internal policies. "This cutting-edge technology will transform our approach to healthcare, equipping our staff with advanced tools to better track patient pathways and improve the overall patient experience," stated a spokesperson from KFSHRC.
Dr. Osama Alswailem, Chief Information Officer at KFSHRC, emphasized the hospital's role as a leader in applying generative AI in healthcare. "Our participation in the Global AI Summit underlines our commitment to integrating advanced technology to enhance healthcare outcomes. This platform also allows us to showcase the incredible work done by our talented Saudi professionals," he remarked.
Professor Ahmad Abusalah, Healthcare Intelligence Informatics Officer at KFSHRC, is also scheduled to speak at the summit. He will discuss the hospital's innovative uses of AI in healthcare, share strategies for sustainable AI integration, and offer insights into the potential challenges and solutions in employing such technologies effectively.
