UAE To Host World Local Production Forum In April

The third edition of the World Local Production Forum will take place in Abu Dhabi from April 7 to 9, under the theme “Advancing Local Production for Health Equity, Global Health Security, and Sustainable Development.” The initiative provides Member States and the global community with a regular platform to shape strategies and foster partnerships on sustainable local production to improve timely and equitable access to quality assured health products.

Over 4,000 participants are expected to be part of the event, which will focus on key issues related to sustainable local production and technology transfer. The forum will feature over 30 plenary and panel discussions. The forum highlights how advanced technologies and sustainable practices can be harnessed to improve local production in the healthcare sector, in addition to exploring strategies to improve supply chains and ensure equitable access to essential products.
