Al-Nassr's Cristiano Ronaldo has created history in the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese legend scored two goals in Al Nassr's last game of the season and took his tally this season to 35 goals. The 39-year-old thus broke the record for scoring the most goals in a single season. Moroccan forward Abderrazak Hamdallah held the previous record with 34 goals.

It was an action-packed season for Cristiano Ronaldo. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored four hat tricks and collected one red card this season. After breaking the record, Cristiano Ronaldo has also shared a post on social media. "I don’t follow the records, the records follow me," Ronaldo wrote as a caption while sharing the viral post. This was Ronaldo's first full season after joining the league in January 2023. At the same time, Al Nassr finished second behind Al Hilal in the league table.

Since joining, Ronaldo has scored 64 goals in 69 games for Al-Nassr. Ronaldo has also played for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus during his 22-year career.
