Discover Qatar Announces Air Tours Around Doha's Iconic Sites

Discover Qatar, the destination management company of Qatar Airways, has announced the launch of its exclusive air tour. Named ‘Discover Doha by Air’, the tour offers travellers the opportunity to explore breath-taking landscapes and iconic landmarks. Each air tour will accommodate eight passengers in the air-conditioned cabin of a Cessna 208 Caravan. The inaugural tour is scheduled for June 27. 

Qatar Airways mentioned in its statement that the new service, with a flight duration of 45 minutes, promises an "extraordinary fusion of adventure, thrill-seeking, and exploration." The Cessna 208 Caravan, which will be used for the air tour, is a single-engine light turboprop utility aircraft. The aircraft will take off from Doha International Airport Premium Terminal and will cover popular sites including Al Thumama Stadium, the Pearl Island, Al Safliya Island, and the National Museum of Qatar.

The tickets are priced at QAR 710 for adults and free of charge for children under two years of age. Meanwhile, tickets are also available for passengers transiting for six or more hours at Hamad International Airport, with a starting price of QAR 850. “Guests are invited to embark on an unforgettable journey around Doha’s skies, soaring above remarkable landscapes and cultural treasures, on the Cessna 208 Caravan," said Steven Reynolds, Discover Qatar Senior Vice President, in the statement.
