Meta Launches Enhanced Generative AI Features For Advertisers

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has unveiled enhanced generative AI features and upgrades for advertisers. The latest features include full image and text generation, as well as additional tools and services to help businesses grow. The first set of AI features was introduced by Meta in October 2023.
The social media giant said that businesses can create full image variations inspired by the original ad creative with text overlay capabilities, building on capabilities to generate new backgrounds around product images and expanding images to better fit multiple surfaces. According to Meta, this feature has already started rolling out, and it will be upgraded in the coming months to include user text prompts. Moreover, users will also get the ability to apply text overlay to images, with a dozen font typeface options for brands to choose from.
Additionally, the image expansion feature will now be available to Reels and Feed, across both Facebook and Instagram. This feature, introduced last year, permits users to seamlessly adjust creative assets to fit different aspect ratios across multiple surfaces. The updated generative AI features, along with currently available creative enhancements, will be available in Ads Manager through Advantage+ creative. Notably, Meta Platforms has also recently updated several Meta Advantage products.
