Dubai To Introduce Digital Platform For Commercial Transport Services
The new platform will include a range of commercial transport services and is intended to offer commercial transport options for both individual and corporate clients
Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA) is all set to introduce a digital platform to facilitate the delivery of commercial transport services in the emirate. As part of the move, RTA has signed an agreement with Trukker Technologies DMCC Company. The new platform will include a range of commercial transport services and is intended to offer commercial transport options for both individual and corporate clients.
The partnership between RTA and Trukker Technologies is in line with RTA's strategic goals of enhancing public-private partnerships. Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, CEO of the Licensing Agency at RTA, said that the platform aims to improve the quality of commercial transport services in Dubai. The initiative helps individuals, companies, and entities in the emirate book commercial vehicles for transportation and connect them directly with RTA-registered service providers. It offers the public an interactive, searchable database of service providers.
Gaurav Biswas, founder and CEO of Trukker Technologies, said in a statement that the platform would deliver advanced yet user-friendly solutions to meet various transportation needs in Dubai. "Through automation, the platform will provide real-time and actionable information to users, ensuring a smooth journey for both customers and operators," the CEO added.
