The initiative involves the development and execution of interactive plans to tackle challenges and achieve objectives in a short period of time
Abu Dhabi's Traffic Safety Technical Committee, guided by the Joint Traffic Safety Committee, has launched the Work Accelerators plan to enhance traffic safety in the emirate. The initiative involves the development and execution of interactive plans among teams from various government entities to tackle challenges and achieve objectives in a short period of time.
The Work Accelerators prioritise intensive programmes in six areas. This includes analysing traffic accidents and extracting lessons learned, enhancing pedestrian and micro-mobility safety, ensuring delivery drivers' safety, reviewing road speed limits, improving freight transport safety, and addressing driver behaviour. Notably, the plan is structured into three stages: design, acceleration, and delivery.
