Jeddah, Saudi Arabia - Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh has issued crucial directives to all branches of the ministry across the Kingdom, outlining the unified timing for Eid Al-Fitr prayers. According to the Umm Al-Qura calendar, the prayers are to be held 15 minutes after sunrise.
In a circular sent to the ministry branches, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh instructed that Eid Al-Fitr prayers should take place at open prayer grounds and in all mosques, except for those mosques that are adjacent to prayer grounds. Additionally, mosques in certain towns and village centers that are not typically used for Eid prayers should also hold the special prayers.
Al-Sheikh underscored the importance of early preparations for conducting Eid Al-Fitr prayers, urging that all necessary services, including maintenance, cleaning, and operation, be carried out promptly. The goal is to ensure that worshipers can perform their rituals with utmost ease and comfort, fostering an environment of spirituality and piety.
