കനത്തമഴയെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് പമ്പ ഡാമിൽ ഓറഞ്ച് അലർട് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഡാമിന്‍റെ വൃഷ്ടി പ്രദേശത്ത് മഴ തുടരുകയാണ്. ജലനിരപ്പ് ഉയരുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ ഡാം തുറന്നേക്കും .ശബരിമല തീർത്ഥാടകർ പമ്പയിൽ ഇറങ്ങരുതെന്ന് കലക്ടർ അറിയിച്ചു.983 അടിയാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഡാമിലെ ജലനിരപ്പ്. 986 അടിയാണ് ഡാമിന്‍റെ പരമാവധി സംഭരണ ശേഷി. 984 എത്തിയിൽ ഡാമില്‍‌ റെഡ് അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കും.
